How do you get a job teaching in an army base in Italy

How do you get a job teaching in an army base in Italy?
I am a public school teacher in New York. I wouldlike to move to Italy where there is family, but still teach. Is teaching in an American army base easy to get? Is it recognized by the board of education? Thanks

You can submit an application to the Department of Defense Dependents Schools. http://www.eu.dodea.edu/hr/vacancies.php

TEACHERS ARE NOW GOING ABROAD TO WORK. THOSE WHO ARE TEACHING IN PUBLIC WHO WANT TO WORK ABROAD TAKE AN AMERICAN BOARD EXAM BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW IT IS IN ITALY. I JUST THINK IT WOULD BE LESSER REQUIREMENTS THAN IN USA. IN MY OWN VIEW, TEACHING IN AN ARMY LIKE HERE IN THE PHILIPPINES, SOME ARE RETIRED ARMY AND THEY CAN TEACH. AND THEY DON'T TAKE ANY EXAM SO LONG AS THEY ARE EXPERIENCED AND ARE INTELLECTUAL ENOUGH TO TEACH THE PRINCIPLES OF PRACTICE IN THE FIELD. AND I CAN SEE YOU ARE A TEACHER IN NEW YORK. I THINK, IF I WERE TO JUDGE IF YOU ARE APPROVED, I WOULD SAY YES. YOU ARE QUALIFIED ALREADY BUT OF COURSE YOU MUST NEED TO MEET ITALY'S REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR A TEACHING JOB WITH THEM.

Here is a link to submit a resume: http://www.dodea.edu/offices/hr/onlineapplication/application.htm Italy schools fall under the DoDDS Mediterranean District, here are a list of schools: http://www.med-dso.eu.dodea.edu/schools.htm Here is a link to the teaching application requirements: http://www.dodea.edu/offices/hr/onlineapplication/requirements.htm Interesting note: Department of Defense schools do not fall under the Department of Education... so they are not subject to NCLB.
